Pi wallet has been scammed and compromise!

How can you tell if your Pi wallet is being scammed?

When you join the Pi network, and before you create a Pi wallet, there is an instruction that says "protect your wallet passphrase because without it, you cannot recover your wallet". The Pi core team has no access to your passphrase, so as a pioneer, it is your sole responsibility to keep and protect it.

Now that the Pi coin has a monetary value, many people pretend to be members of the Pi core team, Pi affiliates, or Pi validators to engage in fraudulent activity. Please remember that not one, not even the PCT, will get your Pi passphrase to validate your account or KYC application.

How can you tell if your Pi wallet has been scammed?

The definite answer to this question is when someone directly or indirectly asks you to enter your passphrase on their website or app, or when you visit a website that is not related to Pi Network's official website and ask you to log in to your account or key in your passphrase.

The only legitimate website of Pi Network is https://minepi.com, always check the Pi Safety Center https://minepi.com/safety for official announcements or to see another Pi-related communication channel.

Here I will provide the list of SCAM websites:
  1. https://www.merchantvalidation.org - this website is SCAM, pretending to be a validator, they have advertising that is circulating on Facebook and other social media platforms, the ads explaining why you need to validate your account and that you required to validate to be able to migrate and to get a green check badge in your profile, which unnecessary and all FALSE!
