Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla Appeals to National Government for a Comprehensive Information Campaign Against Covid-19.

"I appeal to the National Government for a comprehensive information campaign that is clear, concise, and coordinated. It should be based on the SCIENCE of Public Health with guided inputs from Infectious Disease Specialists. Directives should NOT come from military orders without proper consultation with the stakeholders." _Cavite Governor, Jonvic Remulla

Philippines: In a Facebook post on September 21, 2020, by Cavite Governor, Jonvic Remulla explained the importance of centralized information to suppress covid 19. Remulla also could not help comparing some of the countries with good anti-pandemic policies like Sweden and to ASEAN countries;  Thailand, Vietnam, that according to him  the two latter countries are successful because "there is a system of TRUST with the pandemic management led by a team of EXPERTS"

The Governor's point out that the implementation of anti-COVID-19 policies is confusing and deliberately frustrating such as;

1. Couples riding in tandem were required to install a ridiculous plastic barrier shield. Suddenly one day the wind changed and it was no longer needed. Why spend citizens on something that is obviously not even thought of?

2. One (1) meter apart from Public Transportation according to the IATF while DOTR wants 0.75 [UPDATE: President Duterte has decided to retain the 1-meter social distancing requirement on Public Transportation].

3. According to PRRD, we are already preparing for the arrival of the vaccine but according to his DOH Director: "I will not inject the vaccine because it is not safe."

4. About 100,000 Caviteños can cross to NCR without a travel pass to enter work but NCR residents are NOT allowed to go to Tagaytay without a travel pass.

5. SAP is intended and distributed to everyone… Wrong! Not so.

6. The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) says: "Dolomite is safe." DOH returns: "Dolomite is cancerous."

It will be recalled that on August 24, 2020, in a Vice President, Leni Robredo Facebook post also expressed her disappointment, saying "there seems to be no rudder, no direction, no clear horizon when and how to solve the pandemic"  [Report and Suggestions About the National Economy and Messages for Leadership and Unity]

"I definitely agree with you Gov .. the government does not really have a clear policy in responding to the Covid 19 pandemic ... obviously not well planned ... each has own opinion .... the people are at lost what is really should be done."

"That's right ... MEDICAL EXPERTS should be consulted in a medical crisis like this .... We've been together for 7 months and it may be a long time to formulate a more effective solution or policy ... but it is getting worse. .. it is not surprising that the people of the town are tired of waiting ..." Dh

"Good morning Gov. Already mess! You are right, there must be only a voice that can say clearly to everyone what to do because so many opinions and disagreements so even the people are confused about the policy they want to implement ..." Line

"Reason Why sometimes I do not want to listen to the implementations that are implemented, because there is no proper and sensible leadership. Then the others are still taking advantage of the power. What they should be doing is showing understanding, concern, and love for fellow Filipinos .. So the others are upset because there is no proper policy and implementation ..." Bry
