No appointment code received from DFA
No appointment code received from DFA | How to cancel passport appointment without code | DFA appointments already exist | DFA appointment confirmation | DFA confirmation email not received | DFA appointment not paid within 24 hours

The above are some queries that appear whenever searching about problems and issues related to DFA passport appointments, actually, all of these problems are interrelated to each other. This article is written to guide you and to provide suggested solutions to hopefully fix your problem. The DFA, Philippines passport processes had shifted from basic onsite operations to fully online from registration to payments, this is operating all over the country via DFA satellite offices to avoid red tape and to expedite the process. Despite all these measures, there are people encountering errors and issues during the registration process.

How do these issues become interrelated?
Once registered in the DFA appointment system and proceed to payment they will send you a confirmation code via email, the problem occurs when the confirmation code did not arrive, without it, you will not be able to proceed with your appointment schedule;
more problematic because the confirmation code expires within three days depending on the payment method, which means, you will not be able to register again until the code expires because the system detects your name and your pending payment; a burden to those who wait for so long just to get an available slot. Once try to reregister a pop-up message appear [Appointment already exists. Please cancel your previous appointment to book a new appointment schedule.]

This problem makes people angry because they don't know what to do, and where to seek help; call center support is not working, they don't even have chat support to assess and solve the problem. It indeed prostrating that's why I wrote this article to guide you and get through this.

Solutions
There are three suggested solutions to this problem the other two are basic troubleshooting. To begin with, (1) find the confirmation code (PNR) or payment reference number in your email inbox it may be in a JUNK/SPAM or it may be delayed, a few minutes to an hour of waiting is ideal. (2) The appointment will be automatically deactivated by the system once unpaid and reach the expiration date, it is usually 2-3 days. When the confirmation code expires you can able to registered again to the system.

If those suggested solutions dint work, it's your queue to try the third one. You are encountering the problem because the appointment was unsuccessful and had no DFA appointment confirmation code which is the first requirement in cancellation of the existing appointment. The third (3) solution, reregistered again provides the same information except to make an intentional change to the spelling of your name, for example from RICHARD to RICHARDD also, change the previous email address to a new one, a Gmail is better. You need to change the spelling and the email because the system knows or detects if there is an identical information that's why a pop-up message "already exists" appears. If changed, the system could not detect the same as your previous appointment because the name and the email address are unidentical.

If the method works, you can now able to proceed to payment and to your biometrics on the DFA satellite offices of your choice on your chosen schedule. Remember to highlight or cross out the intended misspelling [RICHARDD] and replace it with the real spelling above. Along with that, bring government-issued IDs and tell the encoder that you have misspellings in the form you submitted so they can correct them. No worries, the appointment form you submit will be re-encoded to make sure the accuracy of the spelling.
