Prefix list in the Philippines Updated 2022
This list of prefixes is your guide in determining what mobile number it belongs to. It is important that you know this thing because it saves you money and avoid you from getting into trouble. If you are a foreigner, what I mean by this is that; in the Philippines, there are three different major network providers that restrict each other from sending text and calls except if you have a regular load or a registered "all network call & text."
The three network providers in the Philippines:
- PLDT Inc.
- Smart
- Sun Cellular
- Talk N Text (TNT)
- Globe Telecom Inc.
- Toch Mobile (TM)
- Globe
- Dito Telecommunity Corporation
- DITO
These three network providers have a subsidiary company under their umbrella. This means, that Smart, Sun, and Talk N Text are allowed to send and received texts and calls without additional charges likewise to the umbrella of Globe and Dito respectively
A regular load of 1 peso is needed when sending a text to other networks while a 5 peso per minute is needed when making a call to other networks. Therefore, it is a must that you know which number and prefixes it belongs to.
