A woman wore a swimsuit in Manila Bay white sand

Manila Bay

Philippines: A woman wore a swimsuit went viral on social media when the portion of the Manila Bay with "white sand" was opened to the public. She was Renalyn Macato who just wants to be happy and good vibes in her visit to the area. Although there were those who raised eyebrows at what she did, there were those who were happy with Macato's picture, they said: "there was nothing wrong with what that." "Good for You Renalyn. Keep your spirit high and the carefree attitude. That’s a good one. Thumbs up for u"

"Mahilig po talaga ako sa mga swimwear. katuwaan lang iyong pag po-pose ko sa Manila Bay kasi syempre maganda na iyong lugar kaya dapat tapatan ko din ng ganda sa pamamagitan ng pag po-pose ng naka suot ng swimsuit." Macato said (I really love swimwear. It's just fun for me to pose in Manila Bay because of course the place is beautiful so I should also be nice by posing in a swimsuit.)

Manila Bay white sand has become controversial due to alleged "environmental violations" and "not prioritizing" the country in the covid-19 response.

It will be remembered that people flock in the white sand portion of Manila Bay on Saturday, September 19, and the number of tourists, local, foreigners, and curious people increased on Sunday, September 20, 2020, which led to violated the social distancing and other health protocols. In this regard, the Manila, Ermita police Chief P/Lt. Col. Ariel Caramoan was removed from office for reason of failing to lay out a plan before the said coast (white sand) opens.

Meanwhile, various photos, videos, and memes were spread on social media. #ManilaBayChallege even trended on Twitter with two pictures displayed.
