The video and photo of a young man lying and lifeless are circulated on social media. The young man was identified as alias Danny, 16 years old, a resident of Brgy. Cebuano, Tupi, South Cotabato, according to a report by Bombo Radyo Koronadal, "the family was shocked when they found the boy hanging in their former home about 200 meters away from their current home"
According to the mother alias Emily, his son was having difficulty in the Mathematics subject module on the first day of class on October 5 so he asked his mother to just return the module and he would stop studying.
According to a One Cavite post on Facebook, the victim's sibling said, "Danny went home after his teacher did not accept his module which he submitted late, he was upset, and even broke his cellphone and wifi he used in the online class then immediately entered his room crying."
Also said that "the internet connection in their cousin's house where they live is really weak so he did not immediately submit his module on the scheduled time/day."

It is not clear why "Danny" committed suicide, perhaps it was the result of many problems or depression that led him to the point of taking his own life.
