Peoples Reaction to the Ep 1

"I am deeply into BLs and I never thought I would get to like this GL series. I sure love Gameboys but I wasn’t sure about PND. I even skipped watching it when it premiered, immediately dismissing it as not my thing. But when I finally decided to check it out, I was totally hooked! Just like Gameboys, it is very well-made. Love the script. The lines are not cringing nor pretentious. The actors are great, the direction is superb and the production value is slick. Yes, I’m now into GL too!"_J R said in a Youtube comment

"I didn't realize that I would miss Pearl this much and I'm happy she is back in a series of her own. Finally, we get to see who Karleen is... Angel Aquino's twin. Kidding aside, Iana who plays Karleen is really the spitting image of her mom, she even sounds like her. She is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!"_GenKuro said in a Youtube Comment

"Who is its writer? I want to shake your hands and pat your shoulder and say Congratulations! This is what I am saying! Compared to all existing youtube series today, the lines here are artistic and realistic at the same time. You can understand the emotions between those lines. Such quality pls! Not pure thrill. There must be depth. There is art."_Gerald said in the Youtube comment

"Here's my rating: 1. A+ for casting, I love both Karleen and Aguirre, you can tell their personalities through their faces. Karleen is the type of calm and mature woman and Aguirre leans toward being a tomboy type of girl. But they are not really who they are, right, this is just episode 1. Can't wait to see their secrets."

2. "B+ for the story (or the start), as I said, this is just episode 1. There's still a lot to see, but I don't know if it's a good idea for Pearl to break the fourth wall that much. I mean, her energy is strong but these rules of love/dating are quite cliche in many shows. They can show her energy through her conversations with her bestie, the gay guy. He's there for a reason, right? He is her "Pearl" in this show. I love how they choose a more feminine guy to show the diversity of their universe because we already have a bunch of manly guys in Gameboys (except Cairo, though not feminine, he's too cute sometimes, aww, don't make me start, his cuteness and great acting made me crazy)."

 3. "A+ for the production. I mean, who are we kidding? This show is created by the same talented people who made that phenomenal that is Gameboys, the editing, the lighting, and everything is perfect (using only the iPhone). => Overall, I wish this series would soon outgrow the shadow of a spin-off and become a thing of its own, then we can have not only Gameboys 2 but also Pearl Next Door 2. The more the merrier, folks. Bring it on!" _ Melania said in the Youtube comment
