Elijah Canlas grab twice the 'best actor award' in the movie 'Kalel 15' this year

When it rains, it pours. The actor Elijah Canlas is making a name in showbusiness this year after winning two best actor awards in the movie "Kalel, 15," and the success of his YouTube series Gameboys. 

Elijah Canlas took home the best actor award in the 43rd Gawad Urian 2020 in the movie Kalel, 15 while the director Jun Robles Lana won the best screenplay. Elijah Canlas first received the best actor award for the same movie last August 2020 in the Asian Film Festival held in Rome Italy. 

Canlas also plays June in the movie "Babae at Baril" and Renz in the movie "Edward" which are all nominated in the 43rd Gawad Urian 2020.

Meanwhile, the movie "Babae at Baril" won five awards at 43rd Gawad Urian 2020 including the best picture. The prestigious Gawad Urian held virtually this year amid the covid-19 pandemic.
